About the Workshop

Immerse yourself in the spiritual and musical genius of the Guruguha Vibhakti Kritis of Sri Muthuswami Dikshitar — a set of eight masterpiece compositions dedicated to Lord Subramanya (Guruguha) of Tiruttani, following the eight Sanskrit grammatical cases (vibhakti) and featuring the mudra "Guruguha". Legend says these were composed after Dikshitar received divine blessings at the shrine, marking the start of his glorious journey as a Vaggeyakara.

Guided by renowned vocalist and scholar Kalaimamani Dr. Gayathri Girish, students will be taught all eight kritis in full detail, along with an overview of their significance — with Dr. Gayathri Girish personally conducting sessions and interacting with every learner.
